It is with a heavy heart that I announce our departure as a band. With Jesse having been gone for 3 months we haven’t been able to write, and since the departure of Pauley, we have not been able to find another vocalist that fit just as well. Along with the coming of Drew’s daughter and Cody and Reed being a full time student. It seems as if it would be in our best interest at this point in time to pursue other goals outside of Lonely Are The Brave. We thank you all for coming to the shows and helping the local scene grow. We thank you for showing love and spreading our name, as well as downloading and listening to our music. We wish we could give you a departing gift but alas we cannot. Continue to support the scene, Greenville’s music scene really needs all the support it can get! Check out other bands, Acera, Islander, Images. Check them all out and support our scene!

The point of this show is to help raise money for a toy drive that one of the bros grandfather has put his heart and all into. but the catch is; is that his grandfather is in the hospital with stage 4 cancer and will hopefully make full recovery and all of the proceeds will go towards his grandfather; and towards the toy drive he deserving needs to keep a smile on all of the children’s faces in the local area it would mean SO much to not only US; but to a great man whom he calls his grandfather. The show will be a blast. BLACK LIGHT PARTY. and to those who check in at the skate park; knows that this is a HUGE event. because the park has not had a single show in 5 YEARS and are willingly and hopefully going to get back into the swing of things like how they used to be… Tickets are @ the door for $10 dollars, and if you are the AGE OF 21 or older; you pay $15 at the door, and receive ALL YOU CAN DRINK drinks…. so bring all your friends, $10 or $15 dollars; and have a good time AND KEEP SMILES ON ALL OF THE CHILDREN’S FACES!!! But just because we lost our vocalist doesn’t mean we can’t play shows anymore. We can still play shows, and we still plan on playing shows. We as a band did not end. You will see that. Come to our next show. July 11th, it is a blacklight show starting at 7:30. More news will follow.
We aren’t gone.
We have 2 songs mostly written and we’re currently working on a third right now. We have 2 sets of lyrics done and are working on a third. We are planning on releasing a new EP this summer so stay tuned. When we have a name for the EP we will release it and possibly a 30 second clip of our newest song. So stay posted through our twitter, facebook, and reverbnation!!
As of yesterday Lonely Are The Brave lost Pauley as a vocalist. We are sad to say that we lost him, but we wish him the best in his future endeavors. We’ve grown so much together and he will always be our brother and be in our heart and mind. Lonely Are The Brave will continue on writing new music and playing shows. We are currently writing our new album and it will hopefully be out by the end of the summer. Thank you for your support.
